The vHIT test evaluates how well the eyes move in response to rapid head movements. You wear a small set of glasses with a camera that measures eye movements as the clinician moves your head. The vHIT test allows evaluation of components of the inner ear that previously were not accessible to objective measurement. Not all patients in the diagnosis phase will require a vHIT examination.
